Women’s Health and Body Sculpting Key Topics at ASLMS 2016

In addition to high demand for its innovative new TightSculpting™ application for enhanced body sculpting with true fat reduction and tightening, Fotona has seen continued strong interest in its line of minimally invasive Feminine Rejuvenation solutions. This year’s ASLMS conference in Boston introduced a session topic on Women’s Health on April 2nd, with Fotona actively participating in one third of the 12 lectures:

  • Dr. Sabina Sencar: Pelvic Floor Dysfunction Treatment with Er:YAG Laser.
  • Dr. Jorge Gaviria: Up to 3-Year Follow up of Patients with Vaginal Relaxation Syndrome Participating in Laser Vaginal Tightening.
  • Dr. Adrian Gaspar: Erbium Laser Treatment of Vaginal Atrophy – Comparison with Hormonal Replacement Therapy (HRT), 12-Month Follow up.
  • Dr. Marco Gambacciani: Laser treatment of Genitourinary Syndrome of Menopause in Breast Cancer Survivors.

The interest in each of the above presentations was higher than expected, in particular for the lecture on GSM in breast cancer survivors, which stimulated a lively discussion in the full conference room and attracted a significant number of visits to the Fotona booth as well as additional questions in the convention center corridors.

On Friday, April 1st, Dr. Sencar and Dr. Bizjak-Ogrinc participated in the “International Women’s Health Panel”, the first event of its kind at ASLMS, which was well visited especially by female ASLMS participants. The Fotona Evening event also took place on the same day with Dr. Nasrin Mani from San Diego, California, a happy owner of three Fotona lasers (2 x SP Dynamis and QX MAX) who delivered a very enthusiastic and motivating talk about her successful experiences with Fotona systems, resulting in a very engaging discussion among the audience members.
