Fotona was excited to participate in the ICS (International Continence Society) Annual Meeting, held this month in Montreal, Canada (October 6th-9th). With about 1200 attendees from all over the world, Fotona’s booth attracted significant positive interest among attendees, most of whom were urologists, urogynecologists, and related medical specialists.
In addition to its booth and an ePoster presentation by Drs. Bizjak-Ogrinc and Sabina Sencar, Fotona also hosted a workshop during the congress led by the well-known Canadian urologist Dr. Le-Mai Tu. There was substantial interest in the workshop, with standing room only in a lecture room for 40 people. Dr. Tu talked about IncontiLase® and how it fits into the sequential management approach of stress urinary incontinence in women. The discussion was exceptionally lively, with over an hour of Q&A time.
In general, this year’s ICS congress was a great success and we look forward to future contacts and cooperation with the many professionals that we’ve met in Montreal.
