Some 140 participants attended the symposium, including an international faculty from Germany, Belgium, the UK, Turkey, Albania, Kosovo, Croatia and Slovenia. The event was supported by KOGA – the Kosovo Obstetrics and Gynecology Association, and was dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the first IVF (in-vitro fertilization) in Kosovo.
Fotona’s presentation, delivered by Z. Vizintin, generated substantial interest among the local participants and foreign faculty members and resulted in a number of invitations to present the topic at other gynecology events. In addition to the lecture in the official program, Fotona was also present at the exhibition with a booth staffed by the local distributor, Mr. Genc Simoni of SHC, who reported exceptionally high interest among the participants from Kosovo. Outside of the symposium, an introductory training session was also held for a group of users at a private clinic in Pristina.
